A curious letter in today's mail has intimated this blogger that she is now the 'proud' recipient of the Mumbai University's 'G.R. Mamta Memorial Scholarship' for securing the highest marks in the 'Theoretical Anthropology' paper in the M.A. Part one exams...This piece of information thoroughly confuses the blogger as the only thing the blogger remembers doing during the exam period was generally wasting time.....and also taking part in the MC selection process(filling application..interviews etc).......Her only aim was to clear the exam with respectable pass marks.
The only deduction that her confused mind can make of the highly unexpected turn of events is that either the paper was really really simple or her peers were really dumb or both.In all Holmesian probabilities it is likely to be both. Elementary and all.
