Yesterday D and I went to watch a Russell Crowe movie called 'A Good Year'...It was a relatively small and cozy theater a stones throw away from Block no 24.
The price of the ticket was haf a Euro/ One Leva/30 INR (!!!!!)

The incredible price was a part of the week long Student's Day Festivities ...

8th of December is a Bulgarian student holiday...It is a day to celebrate the fact that you are a student and acquiring knowledge etc...I think its quite a cool concept

We celebrated Students day with a chill out at E.I,'s place...But the guys who decide to stay in Sofia are definitely in the minority...the usual deal involves club hopping, weekend excursions to one of the neighbouring towns, ...non stop partying, hikes to the nearby Vitosha mountain range and generally having a good time.....I had my share of the fun ....and I must say I love the concept of a time slot in the annual calendar that is earmarked for random fun for students

Off Topic: I just got back from a lovely lunch with I.R...She was sweet enough to take me out to this wonderful restaurant which is a hop skip and jump away from the MC office.....This teeny tiny (blink.and.you.miss.it) hole in the wall restaurant serves the most homeliest and earthy Bulgarian fare ...and something tells me that im going to turn into one of their very very loyal patrons very soon.....
