December: We travel to Bucharest in the COLDEST and SNOWIEST of weathers and my snow-naïve Indian brain figured that black leather ballet pumps should be okay… so I froze and froze and froze some more and I was convinced that my poor toes turned into little brown ice cubes,, I honestly don’t know how I survived without my feet getting frost bitten/cut off etc.. Honestly !!

Note to self : Wear GOOD and sensible Shoes!! And don’t buy super fancy boots with skyscraper type heels because the wearer slips one time too many and one's butt does not appreciate the cold wet floor after multiple Humpty Dumpty type falling downs

‘I want to meet you again’ – This time December MCPs meeting was more chilled out , more relaxed …we knew each other much more by then and were very comfortable…the subregions were born! And we started the second half with an about turn in our JD…and I loved the CEE MCPs for being so open…. Chilling in Romania with them. Having pure unadulterated CEE humour.. full with sarcasm, blatant upfront comments, verbal sardonic backlash and all with a healthy dose of being able to laugh at oneself ..I loved it, and I don’t think I am ever capable of not smiling when I think of those evenings in Romania….

December… is also when I went home..... Mumbai was what I needed then .. to switch my brains off and go on auto pilot … I did that .. I also saw Genelle getting married.. .. it still seems so surreal ... im so happy for them..

how could i possibly miss a wedding ,
where the groom was my kindergarten baby sitter ,
the best man and me have been close buddies since we were three years old,
the bride is my best friend's sister and the maid of honour is my ultimate closest friend since high school....

met with friends.. turned 23 …chilled with cousins ….and came back with more energy… Mumbai will always be home and I will always love its spirit.. and when I left I felt that wherever I go I am carrying a little bit of Mumbai with me.
