Transition… So after deciding and perfecting our transition agenda.. its time to start doing it with Barbara….well technically it was more like guiding her through the process of self planning and helping her understand the region..as her JD is markedly different…. We definitely had a lot of fun in the process … numbers and Exchange analysis can be very fun from an anthropological perspective :D as we figured ! …It was interesting to share ideas and make new ones and jot down plans.. it was exciting to know whats in store for next year and also to know that it is in capable hands..

We also did some interesting things to see Budapest from different angles… like climbing the Heroes Square at midnight with Karuna …chilling with Karuna and Barbara pretty much ensures that you will have an unpredictable, crazy and for sure - FUN time

Heroes Square or Hosok Ter is the Hungarian monument to commemorate the 7 groups that came together to form present day Hungary… well we are not sure how legal it was to climb it… but the view was amazing….I took her walking around Margit Sziget..or Margaret Island , my favourite place in Hungary.. this green and lush island right in the middle of Buda and Pest … after eating cherries on the bank of the Danube.. we figured that we need to cool ourselves…and what better way of doing that than by jumping in the fountain… only to be asked by the policeman to kindly come out…

Indian Lunch at Karuna’s and walk to the Hungarian citadella was what we did on the weekend

drinking at citidella4 at citadella

On another day after work …Barbara and me decided to walk on the banks of the Danube, parallel to the Parliament… we talked about our terms …transition in general.. and decided that the desire to do something crazy hasn’t left us yet .. so we decided to climb the tunnel next to the chain bridge.. and as you can see, the pictures were amazing.. lovely panoramic view of the Danube, the bridges and the parliament… with the ships cruising slowly… a beautiful farewell to this amazing city…

Vienna was HOT and filled with the Eurocup fever , we had a day to spend as the flight for Rotterdam left in the evening.. We walked around., took loads of pictures, ate and ended the day with wine on the Danube...this time in Vienna..same river different ccountry :) …this part of the river bank had some extremely active swans and ducks….. Spent the night in the airport watching supermushy chick flick - P.S I Love you.. watch it for some simple uncomplicated entertainment…

final verdict - Vienna +Barbara=Fun
